Benjamin N. Gonson

Ben is a partner in the Firm's Garden City office. As a partner at KSW, Ben manages claims for domestic and international insurers in the areas of insurance, cyber / tech E&O, management liability/ D&O, professional liability / E&O, reinsurance, first party, and general liability / excess liability. Ben is also greatly involved in writing and analysis of policy wordings. In his current role, Ben is also involved in Arbitration, Mediation and Litigation Defense. Ben's previous law firm experience included management of reinsurance, insurance coverage and appeals practices. HIs prior experience over several decades includes dozens of trials and arbitrations mostly involving large reinsurance or insurance coverage disputes, professional indemnity, products liability, construction (labor law), corporate law limited to contract disputes, property, general liability, outside general counsel and claims counsel roles.

Ben is a former Principal of Fifth Avenue Claim Services, a reinsurance runoff operation.
