Maria has extensive experience representing the interests of U.S. and internationally-based primary insurers in coverage, monitoring and transactional matters. Maria has more than 15 years' experience in syndicated secured and unsecured lending, asset-based lending, acquisition finance and general corporate matters. This makes her well-suited to understand the risks, key terms and tensions involved in underlying deals, and now those risks can be most effectively transferred through insurance. Maria brings this experience to both corporate and insurance clients through her work in the areas of reps and warranties insurance, mergers and acquisitions insurance, and other transactional insurance products.
As a member of KSW’s pioneering Emerging and Disruptive Technologies practice group, Maria focuses on the rapidly expanding area of robotics. As a robotics instructor, Maria has a deep knowledge of robot anatomy, sensors, and the coding involved to make robots achieve certain tasks.
